The Kitchen

Kitchens are VERY expensive to renovate- not to mention move to a completely different part of the house. That’s exactly why the kitchen that came with the house has been pretty much exactly the same since we bought it- gross yellow knobs and all. That is- until now!

While we definitely haven’t done anything crazy or expensive with the kitchen, we updated it a bit so that we don’t have to look at the dark and unattractive cabinets anymore while we wait to have enough money to create our dream kitchen. What did we do? We painted 28 cabinet doors and hinges and replaced the nasty yellow knobs with (still cheap) metal knobs that make the place look not only updated, but a lot more open as well. Check it out!

So no, it is not some huge reno project Jacob and I accomplished (and the color didn’t turn out a light gray like it was supposed to but pretty much white…), but it does make the whole downstairs feel a lot better to be in.
