We Think We Can, We Think We Can…

Right now it feels a whole lot like Jacob and I are a choo-choo train chugging up the giant hill that is our office. Yet, the peak seems to be coming into view… finally!

The drywall floating is finally done (thank you, Mr. Bismarck!), which means  that painting can commence. Jacob is actually even staying home tomorrow (Wednesday) to prime and paint as much as he possibly can. He is gung-ho and I am ecstatic about the fact that I don’t have to paint!

The reason why he’s taking a day off in the middle of the week rather than waiting for the weekend is because he (and I) REALLY want to lay the hardwood this weekend. We were able to have our appraiser for the refinance process postpone his visit in the hopes of finishing our office and we are getting nervous about waiting so long. Frankly, we want this refinance stuff to be done and finalized. So we are pushing, hard. Let’s hope we are as productive as we want to be in the next few days. We think we can, we think we can…
