Let’s be clear, there was nothing about this ceiling that was easy. As noted in other posts, the original sections of the house were a bit funky in terms of being square and plumb. From my perspective, this project required the most innovation and creativity to create lines that flowed and satisfied the eye. Randy and Jacob did a great job finishing the drywall. I’m just glad that our framing plan was able to facilitate the finish. I did enjoy the installing the “finishing touches”, but honestly, I wish this aspect wasn’t necessary. I wish that the trusses were able to disappear into the drywall, that was just not possible. We needed a way to hide the rough aspects that remained. I especially like the colors that Tasha and Jacob selected for the ceiling.
